Prairie Meadows is a nice facility. When my mom was there (Aug '17 to Feb '18) staff was kind and caring. Questions/concerns were always addressed quickly/respectfully. The day my mom passed away though, staff didn't seem to know how to handle the situation, most of the CNA's were young, perhaps didn't have experience with the dying process. Mom was surrounded by family, perhaps that is why they distanced themselves. I would recommend Prairie Meadows, but always be your loved one's advocate!

Prairie Meadows!! My Godsend! My mother had already been in 2 homes that I was sorely saddened with the care she was provided. We moved her to Omaha from Lincoln and the best decision I have ever made! The help there treats her like royalty! I can’t always get there to there to see my beautiful mother but know she is in the best hands possibly! I love Prairie Meadows and tell everyone I know who has family members in my situation. Thank You Prairie Meadows! Julia Hale

To Whom It May Concern, My 100 year old mother entered Prairie Meadows from another assisted living facility some five hours away a little over a year ago. We had little time to choose a new care facility, and had been apprehensive at making such a serious decision under those circumstances. We can now say, however, that our concern has long since been answered with the excellent care that my mother has received in this past year at Prairie Meadows. The staff there has been very caring and attentive to my mother's needs - both medical and otherwise - and we feel very fortunate at having made Prairie Meadows our choice. We would highly encourage others to consider them as well.

Ours has been a positive experience and I see this request as being positive. However, I am providing only a limited response because, while the request is conveyed in the first person and directed to me personally, it contains no identity as to who the sender is or at what level in the organization the request is coming from. If I knew more, I could provide more - and any additional would most likely add to the positive response that I have already provided. Thank you, Harley Carr

The facility has a caring staff who take good care of my mother. They go out of their way to accommodate her needs and find unique activities to keep her engaged. Only concern is the high turnover in management, but after each transition, we find they have hired well and things get back on track.

Our mother lived at Prairie Meadows for more than 3 years. The staff were well-trained to deal with dementia and Alzheimer's.

I moved my husband to Prairie Meadows in March of 2017. It was a very emotional time. I did have the privilege of getting to know Nolan and Tracy. They were very helpful. We had a rocky start with the new management, but quickly discovered they were open to our needs and concerns. My husband is treated with dignity and respect and we are very happy with the entire staff.

The staff at Prairie Meadows is fantastic. They are warm, wonderful and patient individuals. The level of care they gave my mother-in-law, Dorothy French, was outstanding. They tend not only to the needs of the body, but to those of the mind as well. Prairie Meadows is an open, friendly, and spotless facility. I would highly recommend placing your loved one in their hands not only for their expertise and experience in Alzheimer's care, but because of their kind, loving and dedicated staff. Thank you to everyone who gave such great care.
