It is early days for us but she is becoming more comfortable by the day. After living alone and virtually housebound for years, it is a big adjustment for her and some work for us but I can see that it will only get easier for everyone as time goes on. I'm glad we convinced her to move to CSL while she was still able to adapt and enjoy the amenities and yet have needed assistance.

Our mother moved to CSL this summer & has adjusted very well. It is such a relief to know that all of her needs are being met by such wonderful people. We especially appreciate Teresa for keeping the Memory Care Unit a lively and energetic place. Mom has made new friends & enjoys being there. Kem is great at setting up little art groups, & Brenda is especially helpful in many ways. The young lady that manages medication (Miranda or Melinda?) is wonderful as well. We appreciate everything!!

Our dad moved into Commonwealth in July and has been so happy there. From the moment he arrived they have treated him as one of the family. We especially love the monthly Family Night events! They take great care not only of the residents but they also take pride in the way the facility looks - in the words of our dad "it's like a 5 star hotel"!

We recently transitioned my mother from another facility to CSL memory care. At every step the Staff was amazing in partnering with the family and our mom. Within hours she settled in and became a part of her new community. We are pleased with the quality of care they provide daily and the facilities are well maintained. Communication has been excellent. It has been wonderful not to receive continuous calls of her being sent the to ER and see her doing so well!

My husband has been a part of the Commonwealth Sweet Memories community for slightly over a month. My family and I have been impressed by the love and concern shown by the staff. Everyone has tried very hard to help him adjust to his new surroundings and to get to know him and his personal eccentricities. In addition, I have appreciated their willingness to address my concerns and questions. I believe we made a good choice!

I love that my grandmother, Ruth, is starting to feel at home, and is meeting new friends. My family and I, enjoyed family night very much. I get a warm and comfortable feeling when I enter your facility to visit her, and the staff are very friendly and helpful!

My Mother has been in the Abingdon Memory Care Unit for three years now. She has had many challenges and changes in her mental and physical well-being. The trained and caring staff have always supported and assisted with these unavoidable changes. Her care at Abingdon is far superior to any she could have received at another skilled long term care memory unit. It is truly a home were she has friends, activities and full time care. Our family could not ask for more. Thank you CSL.

I am so very grateful for the Commonwealth and their staff. It is such a blessing to have peace of mind knowing that my mom is being taken care of by such loving and caring individuals. Everyone there has been so patient and supportive with my mom and our family in this time of adjustment and transition. I can leave there after a visit knowing that she has everything she needs and is being well cared for and encouraged and loved on.
