My mother truly enjoys her rooms that overlook the woods at Deep Run Park. Nature is her joy. There are always birds at her birdfeeder outside her window. She opens the window to hear them sing. Commonweath accomodates the personlaities of their residents. There are many who are social and need that social interaction. There are some, like my mother, who has lived most of her life not in that realm. She likes her privacy. But she also says that the the staff is so friendly toward her. Thank you

I want to give a shout-out to the caring staff at CSL @ the West End - there are so many kind and caring individuals who take care of my mother! I'm so appreciative of the empathy and love that they show, especially Tangie, Luis, Shawnda, Chevonda, Doren, and many others who show so much patience and kindness to my very particular mother! My family is so grateful to you! We love you all!

I feel so very lucky to have my sister under your care. The programs in the memory care are providing her with a joy and purpose to her days. We have noticed they have given her a sense daily of something to look forward to and an interaction with others which adds warmth and smiles. Everyone from the nurses to the director are all so very upbeat and cheerful it brightens not only her day but ours when we visit. God Bless all of you and Thank you

I am very happy with the care my 98 year old mother receives at CAL. The staff is very caring and have earned my confidence over the years. CAL works hard to maintain a family atmosphere which is evident in the low turn over in their dedicated staff.

PROS: Good location for family. Love small community. Great upgrades to interiors. Like having 2 meal choices. Wonderful activities & outings. Mom loves Peggy, Chevonda & Happy Hour. CONS: Parking & one exit route for traffic are a challenge. DON has not always been responsive in timely manner. Staff quantity & quality has suffered lately. Need more outdoor sunning areas in front (maybe add decks over sloped grassy areas flanking front door). Some laundry gets shrunk. Too cold inside.

Commonwealth Senior Living is a great place. It's the perfect place for my Dad. He's well taken care of there. The food is delicious. The staff is very friendly and caring. I would highly recommend living there. They offer tons of activities to do every day. I would give it five stars!

Commonwealth has served our moms for many years. They have been cared for, entertaine, and loved. Chavonda, who is the Dining Manager, not only sees the residents are nourished but treats each as If they are a member of her family. The facility is beautiful and very friendly.

My Mom moved there 2 months ago. The staff could not be nicer or kinder to her. It is a top-notch facility where she gets great care with good food and lots of daily activities. It is just what Mom needed. She is very happy there.

I visited Commonwealth at the West End recently while looking for options for a dear, elderly friend of mine and can't say enough about this single-floor, home-like facility. It was bright and cheery with wide, spotless halls for wheelchairs, if needed. The individual rooms were spacious, and residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture if they desire. A small refrigerator and microwave was tucked into an alcove for off-dining snack times. I love that they serve nutritious and delicious food made from healthily-grown, farm-raised meat and produce in their beautiful dining room. The staff was genuinely friendly, and all the residents I saw looked happy--either engaged with others or busy alone. I met the activities director and happened to know her, so I am positive they will be having fun times there. With a spa-like beauty parlor, library areas with fireplaces, patios facing an open park area behind the facility and too many other amenities to list here, I highly recommend that anyone looking for a new home and lifestyle or quality-living for a treasured loved one, call Leslie or Emily for a visit before making a decision. I am glad I did.
