  • We found out in January that our sweet 2.5 year old Brey had a torn CCL in her right knee. After surgery the team at Sound helped us rehab her back to her young self. Unfortunately she almost immediately tore the CCL in her other knee. After almost 6 months of working with the great crew at Sound our Brey is now 3 years old and was able to celebrate her birthday doing what she loves best... HIKING!! We can’t thank Dr. Knapp, Jaime, Vanessa, and the rest of the crew at Sound enough for helping us get our puppy back to a place where she can BE a puppy!!

  • Dr. Shaw and her team are the absolute best! They took phenomenal care of our newfoundland, Teddy Bear, when she was recovering from a torn achilles tendon and later from a broken tarsal bone. Their attention to detail, adaptability with our schedule, and passion for the well-being of their furry-patients are evident in their quality of work and attitudes! I would recommend this rehab center to any pet owner in need of such services for their beloved furry-one. We are glad to have a healthy pup again, but sad to say goodbye to such wonderful care. Keep up the tremendous work Sound Veterinary Rehab Center!!!! :D

Dr. Shaw and the Sound Vet Rehab Center are a complete blessing! We always knew that our dog Teddy Bear was in the best hands. They told us when procedures were necessary, nice to have, and optional. They were always honest and our dog was actually excited to come to their office! Nothing verifies a visit like a happy dog tail wagging upon arrival :) Easily the best vet group we have ever worked with and even though we moved outside the city, we will still make the drive to work with them!

We LOVED working with the girls here and they had a lot of good training tricks and recommendations to help strength Norman's leg. We couldn't have done it without them! Everyone was very patient and friendly and worked really well with dogs on positive reinforcement.

We began taking our Golden to Sound after an x-ray showed spine issues and arthritis (recommended by our vet). We've been thrilled with our experience! Dr. Shaw and the staff are so knowledgeable and extremely kind. Beyond that, we've seen great progress in our beloved 9 year-old pup. They also do an excellent job of educating us on home care. Our main priority was to help build up her strength in order to reduce pain and increase quality of life as she ages. Goal achieved! Thank you Sound.

I'd like to thank each and everyone of you for getting Sawyer back to being able to run and play. I can't wait until I can send you a picture of him barking at me on the agility course. Thank you so much for having this wonderful resource in Seattle!!!!

I've been fortunate to watch the rehab department of Animal Surgical Clinic develop into the amazing SOUND Veterinary Rehabilitation Center. My dog has had an ongoing front leg limp and wanting to avoid surgery for him, I pursued rehab at SOUND. During each visit, my dog is the sole focus, whether he's is being seen by one of the 3 rehab doctors or one of the technicians. Their knowledge and passion is obvious and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Patient and friendly staff and doctor. I took my dog in because he is showing signs of slowing down and I wanted to see if there's anything to help increase his mobility. Dr. Shaw took time to evaluate Willie, watching his movement and his response. Willie enjoyed his visit very much and was never scared or showed nervousness.
