Ian Dave and Rob are the best in the business. I have sent them tons of work for 10+ years and never had a single issue with any of their builds. Thanks for all your quality work to date and offering to build my seriously broken grand national motor! Looking forward to finally driving it this summer !

Building engines is not only an art of engine building, but an art of educating your clients. The guys at Alecs do an incredible job at both. I've always been a backyard enthusiast, but when it comes to the heavy duty lifting of an engines internals, I've never felt confident. Rob, Jeff and the entire team took the time to research my build, find the right parts and cam specs for my desired build. Once they did that, they educated me and took me through the entire process. They built me an Oldsmobile 455 long block with mostly stock bottom end and rebuilt heads, all new components. The thing is an absolute monster. Thanks you guys!

We (my wife and I) are happy with the job that Alec's Automotive has done for us. Couple that with the professional (and courteous) treatment we got. They rebuilt my 25-year old car's engine. I had to bring back my Laser a few days after, because a very old plastic part (switch) related to the clutch pedal broke, which prevented the car to start. It's not their fault though, but they fixed the problem promptly at no cost. Thank you Ian, Rob, Jeff, Kevin & rest of the staff. Cheers. Peter B

We had the Engine rebuilt by Alec's shop on our 2004 Toyota Sequoia in Sept 2011. It was a smooth and uneventful process. The vehicle now has almost 200,000 kms since the rebuild and everything has been smooth sailing. Probably our biggest issue has been the latch on the rear hatch, likely from all the use it gets from hockey bags and Costco runs for our family of five. With the cost of imported SUV's, an engine rebuild is something we would consider again. Good job and thanks again. Phil O.

Very professional place. I usually bring down a flywheel and they get it done while I wait. Highly recommended!
