My lower back, left hip and knee were pretty painful. They always felt misaligned. I had the pain for about 2 years. Nothing helped. My family referred me to Dr. Shapiro. From the X-rays he found the hips to be uneven. I have been seeing him to rectify this and it has worked. My body doesn't hurt as much and I don't consistently "crack" my body. This is a wonderful tool for people with all sorts of problems.

I had a neck injury from a fall on the job. I had been prescribed medications. I took so many pills that it caused a stomach ulcer. I was referred to Dr. Shapiro by a friend. Dr. Shapiro evaluated me and began treating me. I'm able to continue running my lawn service business and was able to reach retirement as a fire fighter because Dr. Shapiro has kept me going for 25 years. I always tell people about my successful experience with Chiropractic care.

I had a cramping pain in my backside that continued for 10 days. I could not sleep on my back or right side at all. A co-worker referred me to Dr. Shapiro. I have had back issues since High School. I was examined and X-rayed, the diagnosis was spot on and treatment was started. I improved after the first treatment and was able to sleep. Before Chiropractic care I went through a lot of treatments, exercises, rehab, etc. with no success. The only thing I have had success with is Chiropractic.

I experienced excruciating pain and frequent muscle spasms in my neck. Ibuprophen and prescription pain pills only took the edge off. Dr. Shapiro examined me, had X-rays made, explained my injuries, recommended treatment and adjusted my back and neck. I had injuries from childhood I didn’t know I had. I have relief from my pain and improved range of motion. Improvement is immediate following each adjustment and the adjustments last longer each week. I am so glad I was told about Dr. Shapiro.

I was experiencing lower back pain for several months. Sitting exercising and walking caused discomfort. Muscle relaxers massage or acupuncture did not resolve the situation. Dr. Shapiro conducted a lengthy examination. He would not do any treatment until he analyzed all the information which I really appreciated. X-rays indicated I had issues with the lower vertebra. In about six weeks I was totally pain free. I decided I no longer needed care. Stopping was a huge mistake. Several years later I was in even worse condition. I literally had to crawl from bed to get an ice pack. I returned to Dr. Shapiro and I have been going ever since. I never want to be in that terrible situation again. I am a firm believer in the benefits of Chiropractic care and a success story. I have been pain free for years. Dr. Shapiro keeps me healthy and able to fully experience my active lifestyle.

Lower back pain kept me from restful sleep, I had neck pain and recurring extremely painful headaches, more frequent over several years. I saw two previous MD’s, X-rays were taken but were reported to have no issues. Prescription medication was recommended. I was aware of Dr. Shapiro's reputation in the Carrollwood community and he was personally recommended to me. I was examined X-rays my medical doctor sent over were reviewed. Misalignment issues were identified. I received adjustments to correct that, I was advised in stretching, hydration, nutrition and sleep routines. My neck pain has disappeared, my headaches nearly eliminated, and my lower back does not disrupt my sleep. Chiropractic offered me a solution to problems I was told could not be found or helped. My overall health is better, I no longer require prescription medication for comfort, I have learned ways to keep myself out of the doctor's office, all accomplished using the strength of my own body and nature.

I had back pain that occurred every few months and would take several days to "heal". When it did occur the pain made it difficult to walk and bend. The pain was constant for 2-3 days. I found stretching exercises on the internet. By the time I could see my PCP the pain would begin to subside. Suffering for short duration became part of life. My wife and her secretary both referred Dr. Shapiro. Treatments began in 2013 and shortly became scheduled just once a month. It is now 2016 and I have not had any recurring back pain since. Seeing Dr. Shapiro once a month is easy. I am in and out in no time. Maintenance seems to be the key as I have made no other changes in my life.

Chronic neck pain and headaches led me to Dr. Shapiro’s office. I had visited a general practitioner, a neurologist, took ibuprophen and other stronger medication which didn’t relieve the pain long term. I was leery about coming to see a Chiropractor but wanted a more “natural” approach to healing to treat the source of the problem rather than the symptoms only. He was very thorough and did not rush it at all. He explained what Chiropractic was, he was very reassuring that it was not painful and that he would explain what treatment would be beneficial. After the examination and results of the X-rays I began having adjustments. Within a couple of weeks my headaches diminished and my back pain eventually ceased as well. I have continued to see Dr. Shapiro for many years for other conditions such as neck pain and pelvic issues. I work out at the gym and at times injure myself. He has been helpful with these situation as well. He’s great – go see him!

I was having severe lower back pain, trouble sitting for long periods, crossing my legs, and bending over due to an injury from a fall several years ago. The pain made my back go into spasms. I had to go to the emergency room on two occasions. They prescribed a narcotic level pain pill, muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory. The pain never completely went away, and the medications had terrible side effects. I met with Dr. Shapiro, he took some X-rays, performed some tests and discovered the injury was causing my nerves to become pinched. He developed a treatment plan to not just treat the symptoms but the actual causes of the symptoms. The thought of being adjusted did not sit well with me however I am glad that I overcame my fears as the results are amazing. The adjustments have given me my life back. I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro. He takes his time with his patients, explains everything with the goal of maintaining good health and genuinely cares about his patients.
