I am a mother of 2 children. Our son, born March 2013, has attended Livining Montessori since he was 25 mo old. So we have exprience with the early education programme as well as the academy. We are very very happy with both. Our son had the best early eductation teacher and now the best academy teacher. He is thriving and happy and learning so many new things and skills. The facilities are top notch, from the class rooms to the cafeteria to the multi purpose rooms to the playground. The layout of the whole school is very well planned and thought out. We absolutely love the yearly gatherings from the summer celebration to the fall fest where we meet all the happy staff members. The head of the school is very visible, not only at these occations, I see her daily as I drop off and pick up. The school cares highly about nutrition and serves cooked healthy meals and snacks according to an organic policy, which I love. It was one of the main factors when I picked this facility when my son was a young toddler. Our daughter, born April 2017, is signed up to start later this year. She will very likely get the same teachers as our son had/has because the school does a great work placing students/families with the best teacher fit for the student/family. This is another indicator that this is a great facility that staff members have been there for many years. The school offers a wide range of after school classes/activities too like soccer shots, ballet and piano lessons and many more. I have very high standars when it comes to my children´s education and well being and Living Montessori meets my standards without compromize. I really doubt there is a better pre-school in our neighborhood (Kirkland/Bellevue/Redmond), I honestly can´t find it. 5 stars, 5 smileys and 5 thumbs up from our family.

My daughter (29 months old) has been going here for about six months. She loves it! We all love it! She has learned a lot in her first six months: counting to ten, the words to at least a dozen songs that she is constantly singing, and how to do many things by herself. That last one is really important to us.She loves the healthy food that is prepared on site, and I usually get jealous when the menus are posted. They sound better than the lunch options I have at work. The admissions process was more formal than other schools/day cares, but it's a good way to ensure that this school is the right fit for you and your child. I get that it's not for everyone, and I appreciate that the school is very upfront about their mission and philosophy. We were previously at one of the large chain day cares and Living Montessori has been a much better experience for us! It's not just a place to drop your kid off for the day, your child will spend their time learning new skills and becoming more independent.I can't say enough great things about my daughter's teachers and the other staff here either. Ms. Katie's happy greetings every morning are a delight, and many of the other teachers greet my daughter by name each morning. Her classroom teachers are wonderful, and she loves them. They have been very flexible with her milestones (like potty training) and I know they are as committed to her learning as we are at home.

After moving across the country to Seattle, We searched High and Low for the perfect fit for our 4 and 5 year old and have happily found it at Living Montessori! The administrative staff had always been welcoming and helpful and the teaching staff is wonderful! Our kids beg to go to school and are so excited to learn! The food is wonderful- they eat better than we do! The environment is a safe and happy place and we could not be happier! (We drive 1 hour each way to get to and from school, so we definitely love it!) The enrichment programs are excellent and we love that they are held AT the school, so we are not driving all over town for soccer and ballet. Definitely a great place to grow your child!

My daughter (7yo) and my son (4yo) just did 2 weeks of summer camp there and we had a great experience. My kids speak bad English as we just moved from France and while my daughter was crying on the first day and one of the administration member came in the class and stayed with her for 45mn trying to speak half French half English to reassure her and explain her how everything was working. At the end of the first day (and same at the end of the week), both kids told me they didn't want to go to any other camp as this one was great. They had plenty of fun activities such as bee pearls, sewing, arts and craft, made wood house, went to aquatic center, went to the park, had some water fun activities outdoor.... They came back with plenty of souvenirs....The team was always very nice and caring and they had lots of energy to drive the kids thru the day !On top of that the food is one of the greatest I've seen in school with organic & healthy meals and the equipment is great. We will definitely come back for a camp

There are a few negative reviews as of late, so I wanted to write to say that we have really been impressed with Living Montessori Early Education so far. My son is 3 months old and in the infant classroom and the teachers have been so loving and caring, and he really enjoys is there. They are great with communication, and we have loved it there. Thank you for taking such good care of our son!

My son has been going here since he was four months old and he's almost three now. My wife and I are so happy that we chose this school. We searched high and low for places to take our child and as most parents out there, you want to ensure your child is well taken care of and safe. This place exceeded our expectations and our son is moving on to his next endeavor at this school. He has learned so much and this place and they are setting him up for success. Before coming to Living Montessori, we toured many childcare facilities and most were just day cares, that wouldn't have taught the Montessori philosophy to our child. I didn't know much about Montessori before touring LMEC and after learning about it I wouldn't take my child anywhere else. They use real world scenarios and don't just reward good behavior with gold stars. You will be amazed when your child comes home and tells you or shows you what they learned today.I can't stress enough how amazing this school is for our child and you will not be disappointed if and when you tour this school. The staff is amazing and always tell you how your child is doing and they always keep the needs of your child in mind.Don't hesitate, tour today and sign up tomorrow, you won't regret it!

We have been very impressed with the Living Montessori preschool. I find the teachers extremely attuned to each child -the whole child. They make a point of not just what "work" they are doing but how the child feels about what they are doing. The principal and especially the director, teachers and staff are not only approachable but are more than happy to take the time to address any concern. There is a harmonious feeling and optimism in the  classroom .. and  real excitement you can feel when observing these kids participating learning and workng together... I see a love of discovery.. development of self confidence and a sense of joy that is continuing now in our third year with the school. A very positive experience ..

Our son has been attending their school since they were initially called Planet Kids Montessori.  He is now 5 years old and is in Kindergarten program.  My husband and I have been very satisfied with the program well beyond our expectations.  The  Principal, Afrose, along with the staff are always very responsive to any concerns or issues  we have as parents over the years.  I was unfamiliar with the Montessori philosophy when we started our child as a 2 yo in preschool.  it has been 3 years since and we are very happy with the progression our child has made over the years.  Transition to Kindergarten was smooth from preschool and he already knew his letters, numbers  and started writing prior to starting kindergarten.  There is good teacher to student ratio as well.  I like the drop off system where you dont have to park your car , instead you sign on the ipad from the staff  who is waiting for you at the drop off area.
