Our overall experience with Putnam Ridge was quite good. Mom was well taken care of. I would have liked to have seen a little more time spent walking with her to strengthen her legs, although I realize mom can be difficult and unwilling to try. Overall the staff was pleasant and appeared to attend to her needs.

Very good experience. Food was excellent.. Only thing I would say is that the RN's need to dress more professional, and have their badges visible. I dont feel sweats and hoodies are professional looking.

I want to thank all the nurses and staff for the kindness and compassion they showed my father, Hugh, and our family. I can't say enough how happy we were with the care dad received. We never had to worry about him because we knew the nurses and aides were taking care of dad as if he was their own father. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for the way you cared for my dad! <3

Putnam Ridge is a great place to recover. My Dad was in dire shape, n they put him on a program that brought him back to where he was prior getting sick. He was well pleased with his recovery. Thank you sooooooo much!

My mother has been admitted to the Birch Rehabilitation Unit 3 times now. The staff has been wonderful and loving, albeit underpaid and overworked! Admin. would be well advised to step up their game and invest in more staffing hours!! Recreation staff are fun/happy. Facility is clean, food is okay, PT/OT Dept. is outstanding! Free TV and telephone in room. Exceptional staff on the floor -- but they should hire more. Night time and weekends are understaffed for emergencies IMO.
