I have never written a Yelp review before. Because of the varying reviews of this lovely family property and our positive experience, I thought it was high time. We have stayed here on a few occasions over several years and have always enjoyed our time. However, this visit was absolutely wonderful. We had our small dog with us, but were given a beautifully refreshed and updated room which is rarely the case when traveling with an animal. We had an incredible ocean view out the big sliding glass windows of our spacious room. Every staff member we encountered at the resort was professional and welcoming. We enjoyed the restaurant for a lovely dinner which boasts an impressive wine list with a price point for everyone. Our server Kyle was attentive and efficient. The chef spoke to us and all the tables of diners during our dinner. Jess also inquired about our satisfaction. We even took advantage of the spa across the road where Mickey gave my husband and I a wonderful relaxing massage. We found all parts of the resort to be well-kept and immaculately clean. Any property which abuts the ocean struggles with the ravages of the climate as far as wear and tear, but this team is clearly working hard to keep up. The long staircase down to the beach is in great shape and safe. We were there during a clam dig and the staff made sure the clam cleaning station and surrounding area was clean each day. The grounds offer grass, fire pit and lovely landscaping which are well maintained. We live on the other side of the state but I can't wait to go back!

Will definitely stay here again. We had a double queen on the top floor. Fireplace, balcony and a beautiful view of the ocean. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Everything we ordered was wonderful. We ordered dinner to go so we could eat in the room. With the 15% off for being a hotel patron, the prices were quite reasonable for the quality. Not sure why anyone would call it expensive unless they aren't used to Seattle prices. The view from the restaraunt and our room included beach and trees. Wonderful combination. Cozy bed and linens. Decor is dated but clean and pleasant. I enjoyed the pool in the lodge and wish I had known about the spa. Would have tried a massage. EVERY staff nember was friendly and helpful. Clerks, hostess, maids, chef, all seemed to enjoy their work. We took advantage of the "stay 2 nights get the 3rd free".

Older hotel but very well kept and with some great ocean views.  The hotel and bar on site are very good with a particularly good wine list.  You can rent DVDs and light a fire and enjoy the roar of the ocean.  Homey but not exotic.  Nice place to go and just chill, eat good food, drink good wine and watch the waves.

You guys, I just love a no-frills side of the road motel when hitting the road for national park trips in no man's land. There is something so charming about their bare bones setup. It's like a tent for those of us who don't actually want to sleep in a tent but love being outside...during the day hours. My key requirements in these situations is: 1.) is it clean; 2.) easily accessible from the route; 3.) is it clean (yes, I said this one twice) and 4.) budget friendly. Ocean Crest checked off all of these boxes. The room was very clean and the check in process was easy peasy. The bedroom even featured green tea and coffee (coffee maker). Located along 101/overlooking the ocean, this motel is only a stone's throw from Olympic National Park Hoh Rainforest entrance and Ruby Beach. Our room was $97 including tax for a queen bed. My only complaint was that the door/door locks could use some repair.  The door wouldn't fully lock or close.

Great weekend! Great food at the restaurant and the most beautiful view available! Staff is amazing and it is an experience not a destination! I have an experience that I can take with me after this visit! Personal care was an overstatement!

I come almost every year with my family. My girlfriend and I stayed in our own room this year and as usual, our vacation was wonderful. We booked our room about a month in advance and when we came to check in there was no problem. We got an economy room which is the basic of the basic. Granted we were out the majority of our stay it would've been nice to have a small fridge and/or a microwave but we really did get what we paid for.Had a stairway to the beach which draws a path straight down a ravine, really a cool sight to see along with the beach. Even if you're not feeling walking the stairs, there's a beach access near the resort you can drive to and you can drive on the beach. The spa/pool is very nice. They give you towels so you don't have to bring your own from your room and everything is well kept. Mostly used the pool, hot tub, and sauna but I heard the spa is wonderful as well and good rates too. It's open late too so you can go to town for the day and end on a good note.Overall very satisfied with our stay. Would also like to mention the maids, they were on top of servicing our room and it looked nice throughout our stay. Will definantly be coming back for future vacations.

Oh, my god.  I moved to Grays Harbor from San Francisco, mourning the cuisine I left behind.  NOT!  This place has magnificently good food.  I mean, better than a couple of cities I've been in lately; San Francisco and Paris.  You really cannot believe how good this food is.  Tonight I shared the Schezuan clams with friends, and had the halibut myself.  Absolutely fantastic.  And how about the marvelous staff?  Pam at the bar and Jess at everything else.  Superb.
