    As a first time home buyer I was a little panicked and slightly on edge. Every time I would start to freak out, Scott would walk me back and calmly explain (for the 15th time) what was going on, everything was fine, all is going as planned. I was never confused or left wondering. Every text was answered, every call returned. I would bet my new home that a better lender doesn’t exist.     Scott Criss with Cross Country represented a buyer (with another agent) on a listing I had. They provided an update by email every time there was progress with the loan, were timely with their closing (on time) and communicative.     The team was great. I'll always do business with the Cross team. One area for improvement is the underwriting process. It took 4+ days to get our file reviewed the first time and then given all the stipulations we had, we barely got everything done in time to close and get docs. If underwriting could have taken a quicker first pass, we would have had more time to get all the stips in.

    Scott is an amazing lender! He is always sending status updates before we even have a chance to ask him for it! It’s so nice to have a lender that gets things done on time or ahead of time always! He is excellent with his communication and always very prompt with his responses.     The team at Cross Country was VERY pro-active and knowledgeable throughout the entire process! There are so many variables involved these days in getting a mortgage loan, I cannot imagine doing it without professionals such as these to help make decisions and navigate the process. I cannot emphasize enough how comforting it was to have Scott Chriss and his crew handling our loan. I always felt like he was way out in front of the process and keeping everything on track.

    Scott was amazing from day 1.....all up until about day 250. No, really, we took that long to buy a house (and almost buy two others), and he happily stuck with us that ENTIRE time. He was organized, on top of our file, and always had an awesome attitude about a somewhat stressful process. Early on he even took an hour to meet with us and review the entire home buying process in California. We learned a TON. He's awesome at his job, once you've found him, look no further!
