Regency Grande Nursing And Rehabilitation

Regency Grande is located in the historic town of Dover, in New Jersey’s Morris County. Founded in 1722, the picturesque community is actually nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, although it is just 35 miles from Manhattan and approximately the same distance from the Delaware River and the Pennsylvania border. Once a landmark hotel, today the six-story facility has evolved into a wonderful showcase of Regency’s commitment to total patient-centered care and comfortable, home-like living. Regency Grande’s team of experienced caregivers and support staff provides a variety of long- and short-term healthcare services designed to meet the widely varying and changing needs of our residents and patients, including the elderly, those suffering from prolonged illnesses or disabilities, as well as short-term rehabilitation candidates. Services at the 155-bed facility range from 24-hour skilled nursing to sub-acute care and assistance with basic requirements of daily living in Regency Grande’s gracious assisted living accommodations. Residents and families alike enjoy the friendly environment, comfortable, cheery rooms, sumptuous dining with choice of meals, beautifully appointed living, dining and recreation areas, as well as a stimulating schedule of activities and entertainment. Regency Grande is very much a part of the Dover town landscape that, for the past several years, has been undergoing a business and cultural renaissance. Families and residents can step out of our front door and shop for antiques, ride in a paddle boat, visit dozens of boutiques, go to a country-style auction, attend a summer concert, or dine at one of the town’s many fine restaurants. Easily reached by public bus or rail transportation, or via automobile from major roadways Routes 80, 46 and 10, Regency Grande has emerged as a “grand example” of Regency living!

My husband is residing at the Regency Grande. He is there for nursing care. His room is very comfortable and very cozy. They keep it spotless and extremely clean. It is not at all a hospital-like setting. It has enough space and everything is inclusive. My husband loves the food too. The care is exceptionally great. The aides and the nurses are on top of everything. They really truly care about the patients. They make sure that they're comfortable and they fit into the community. They continuously keep them busy. They have casino day, Bingo, arts and crafts, exercises, and a book mobile comes around. There are unlimited things for the residents to do.

Regency Grande was the ideal home for my mom and dad to live out the last ten years of their life in comfort, calm, and companionship. The staff were better than family, and the utmost professionals. Since this survey was triggered by my dad dying, I would advise some oversight to ensure a method more sensitive than a generic comments questionnaire, but no matter, I would recommend this facility to anyone, and everyone I tell about it wishes their relatives and loved ones were there.

My mother was a resident for three years at regency grande in Dover. I was very happy with the facility and staff. If there was any problems they were resolved quickly. Margot Gerson was so helpful to me. She was always available to help with any problems I was having. On the day mom passed she was there helping me and my family during the final moments. She deserves to be recognized as a outstanding employee. Thanks to everyone for caring for my mother in her final years. Thank you. Charles

Regency Grande Nursing and Rehabilitation is a top notch and class act. The nursing care is great and the physical therapy and occupational therapy is one of the best I have ever experienced. I have written several commendation letters to the staff members here. My expectations were exceeded. I highly recommend them.

Paying forward the kindness bestowed upon my mother-in-law by Pat, Manny, Gerardo, Margaret and Stacey. It's hard enough living so far away and being unable to care for mom...knowing she is in such good hands gives us (peace) of mind. Special THANK YOU to housekeeping Clean! Clean! Clean! Clean!

Regency Grande is the best long term care facility that I have encountered. My relative had been in several other facilities before coming to Regency but only here did she receive the level of caring, professionalism and respect that she deserved. The administrative staff was always responsive and open to new ideas and the nurses very knowledgeable and warm. I highly recommend Regency Grande in Dover.

My sister-in-law is very comfortable at Regency Grande Post-Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She is in hospice right now. The staff is great, they give her breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they have a doctor that comes in. I'm very satisfied.

Hi Mr. Olszewski. My mother Catherine Hays finally went home on 7/5 after a lengthy stay at Regency. She is a "repeat customer" having been with you folks on 4 or 5 different occasions in the past. I just wanted to send you a short note about your facility and staff. I am of the age where many of my friends are going through the same challenges as I am with their parents. When they ask me about a facility I always sing Regency Grande's praises. Your facility is clean, warm and inviting and your staff are professional, caring and kind. Jennifer Bollard in particular is great at her job and a true professional. She guided us though some uncharted waters with a steady and even hand and her advices were invaluable. Congratulations on running such a class organization and your selection of qualified and caring people. Sincerely, Bill Hays and the entire Hays Family.
