I have put up with on and off lower back problems for 9 1/2 years since having my oldest daughter. After numerous rounds of painkillers and physio, my latest bout of unbearable pain and discomfort was the final straw and finally sought help from the Fareham Osteopathic centre after recommendation from my sister. I cannot thank Cain from the centre enough, within 15 minutes I was told my troubles came from a twisted pelvis - more than likely sustained through childbirth and by the end of my first appointment it was successfully popped back in place!! I only needed one further visit and all is well and hopefully that is the end of my troubles. Just wish I had done it sooner!! Wouldn`t hesitate to recommend the centre to anyone and have already done so to some of my colleagues!! Thanks again!

In the early 1960s, I sustained quite a serious back injury. After a year of treatment from GPs, a stay in hospital and wearing a plaster cast for several weeks, my only hope was a possible operation, with a 50:50 chance of success. Then I heard of someone who had suffered a back problem for many years and was helped by an osteopath. After 6 weeks of osteopathic treatment, amazingly, most of the intense pain I’d been suffering 24/7 disappeared. I continued treatment and after some months I was able to take up non-contact sports again. After that, I have always sought help from an osteopath when suffering any muscle or joint pains. When I moved from London in 1981, I was determined to find an osteopath locally. I was extremely fortunate to find Terry Alldridge. Since then, he has been of great help over the years. Although I can no longer practice sports, I see Terry regularly and he is able to keep me reasonably mobile.

I was diagnosed with cervical spondylosis in 1987 and regular physiotherapy treatment, including traction, over the following 13 years failed to get rid of the pain. In 2000 I was treated by a new, young physiotherapist, who looked at my notes and said: “you are wasting your time here and should see an osteopath!”. A friend recommended Terry Alldridge and within six months of seeing him I was pain free for most of the time. Since then I have had regular ‘MOT’s’ every three to four months, which keep my neck joints and muscles running as free as possible. I have absolute trust and high regard for Terry and his colleagues and would recommend anyone with neck/back pain to seek their help.

I have just had some very successful treatment at the Fareham Osteopathic by Terry Alldridge. I will always have a reoccurring back problem and was very fortunate 9 years ago to be recommended to Terry by my doctor. I wish I had known about the centre earlier as prior to this I had spent many years visiting various chiropractors with varying success and alot of disappointment. My treatment now always sorts out my back again, so I can forget about it and get on with life! I would say to anyone to try this centre as you don’t have to put up with back pain – it can be very well managed. Terry and his team are all very professional, helpful and will make you feel at ease and not at all rushed. As well as receiving your treatment, your actual problem is carefully explained to you with advice on exercises if required. I would certainly recommend them as it has worked for me.

I had not seen an Osteopath before and was concerned what would be involved and whether the treatment would hurt.So I called the practise and the receptionist explained what was involved and reassured me that the osteopath would discuss the options and explain the process and not do anything unless I was happy. My treatment was very successful and I have not had the same problem since. They showed me exercises and gave ideas on how to look after my back to help make sure it does not happen again. I was impressed with the time taken to work out what my problem was, and the fact that they explained all the time and I felt I got to know the Osteopath too. Very helpful.

I was having Physio treatment for a year for knees and back. My daughter paid for me to visit Terry Alldridge as the treatment from the Physio was not working. I can honestly say I have never looked back. Terry is articulate and extremely professional but more importantly HE KNOWS HIS STUFF! My only regret is that I did not find his practice years ago, as I could have saved myself from a life of pain and discomfort. I can definitely recommend him.

Terry Alldridge, a Registered Osteopath first came into my life as a Speaker at Meeting of Back Pain sufferers. He very soon caught my attention of his genuine interest & concern for those with severe pain. My Nursing knowledge soon accepted his wide experience, & his Medical knowledge (although not qualified as a Medic ) he had gained from his Father who was a G.P. I began & continued treatment soon after meeting Terry. He very soon put me at my ease. He is gentle, very kind, & explains his treatment in pleasant surrounding My Husband & I cannot thank Terry enough for putting me “back together”, yes it has taken many years, but over the years I have gained much less back pain, He has treated me through 2 x knee replacements, & major shoulder surgery. He is always prepared to treat any extra muscle pain caused by my general condition. After Terry’s treatment I have a much improve quality of life & can after 25 years drive the car again. Thanks Terry for all you have done for me.

I first went to Terry Alldridge over 25 years ago after a personal recommendation from a friend. The effects of my back condition, Scoliosis, were becoming worse and interfering with my work. After a prolonged period of treatment with Terry, which included massage, stretching, exercises and occasional manipulation and ultra sound, I achieved considerable sustained improvement. This occurred even when I was physically very active gardening and running a small horticultural nursery. Terry was able to educate me in the best way of managing my back condition so that my muscles became strong enough to protect my spine. This enabled me to continue my nursery work without causing undue damage to my back. Although my condition is progressive and I have just retired from horticulture, my ongoing regular treatments enable me to continue with my active lifestyle. I can confidently recommend him and his practice to anyone who requires the expertise of an osteopath.
