Good overall experience for my first visit. The visit was 5 Stars, but I'm only giving 4 for now because I haven't received my bill and can't give an honest review until then. The check in staff was very friendly. Would maybe seem unprofessional to some because she was laughing and having a good time. I personally enjoyed it. It's nice having someone that does their job without looking like they'd rather be anywhere else. The wait time after filling out my paperwork was less than 5 minutes. Had the hearing test done with Michael Goforth. He was friendly, professional, and efficient. Clearly explained everything he was doing and when he went over the options I had for improving my condition he stated which ones were and were not covered by insurance. Had my ENT exam with Jennifer Chen- PA. She was fabulous!! She listed to everything I said and never once made me feel rushed. I have multiple things going on we worked together to prioritize which was the most urgent to treat and what I wanted to wait on because I was feeling overwhelmed. Based off of this appointment I would recommend them. I will update my review after I receive my bill and see if anything changes.

On my first visit, I had the pleasure of talking with the audiologist Michael Goforth. He has an abundance of skills and a good method of communicating to patients. He's honest and upfront and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you understand the treatments available. The folks in the front office could probably use some coaching on a more warm and friendly presence toward patients. But overall, they seemed to be very good at what they do.

After issues at the Lawrenceville office I gave the Alpharetta office and Dr Goforth a visit. So glad I did. It was a great experience and very informative. I’m looking forward to receiving my hearing aid and not being lost about what’s being said in restaurants, on speaker phone, in groups, etc.

Well, Dr. Carothers and his Assistant Elizabeth listened to my Sinus blockage concerns & were very professional at every level during the process. Recently improved phone answering for appointment scheduling, less time on hold listening to office promotional blather. Less waiting time in office, too. Doctors and staff are engaging and skillful. A good experience.

I am writing this review particularly for Deshawn Hickson (billing office in Alpharetta) and Dr. Mallory Marcis (audiologist) who certain deserve all 5 stars. I went to the ENT Institute this past June to verify that I needed a hearing aid for hearing loss in my left ear. Dr. Mallory treated me with great kindness. After it was verified that I did need a hearing aid, Dr. Mallory went above and beyond in keeping in contact with me and answering any questions I had about purchasing a hearing aid device. Her service was thorough and helpful in helping me decide to purchase the device and exactly which device to purchase. Dr. Mallory continues to keep in contact with me today 4 months after the purchase and continues to show amazing "customer service" for my situation and fulfilling my needs. Deshawn Hickson, a staff in the billing office, resolved an issue I had with the claim that was sent to my insurance after purchasing the hearing aid (I will write a separate review on the process for filing the claim, which I totally disagree with and is NOT customer friendly at all; the process used by the ENT institute caused a great inconvenience to myself). Despite the claim issue, Deshawn took great initiative in resolution. I called and spoke to Deshawn after my hearing aid claim was initially processed to check on a refund I was due. Long story short, Deshawn not only answered my questions during that phone call, but, unbeknownest to me, she stayed on top of the claim process and communicated with me when there were updates. She worked more than diligently in contacting the insurance company to ensure when the claim was finalized up to and until my refund was processed by the ENT Institute office. If it was not for Deshawn, I would have had a MAJOR problem with the way this office handles claims processing and purchasing the hearing aid device. I never asked Deshawn to follow-up with this issue after we initially spoke. I was expecting to have to go through all kinds of hoops to get the refund that was due to me. However, Deshawn's persistence got the problem solved in a timely manner (much more timely than I would have anticipated had she not taken those steps). So, with all that being said, I GREATLY appreciate Deshawn and really hope the ENT Institute sees this review so they can take measures from her in how to work deligently with the consumer. Ultimately, thank you to Dr. Mallory Marcis and Deshawn Hickson who I will continue to praise and write about where ever I can. if anybody has any issues and needs to visit any of these offices, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Marcis if possible. And, if you happen to have any billing issues, Deshawn is the person to talk to (if she is any more diligent with you than she was with me). Again, I will write a separate review on the process this company takes with filing claims, etc.

I'm mad that I didn't find them sooner. Since moving to Atlanta 11 years ago I've had nothing but sinus problems, seen I don't know how many Doctors and wasted thousands of dollars and time in medication, co-pays, travel and time lost from work. I am not going to talk about the constant migraines, inability to get a good nights rest, stuffiness, irritability or that no one wants to sleep the entire night with me because I have been told that I keep them up with my snoring. Yet, there's no documented evidence of that alleged "snoring" so yeah. Anyway, it took all of 3 office visit, 1 office sinus procedure (scary but so worth it), a total of 5 medications in the end and I am 100% cured. I can breathe, smell so much better (not always a good thing), food even taste different, no more migraines, I sleep through the night which is huge, I don't believe I snored to begin with so I will say I don't snore. So yeah, I'm mad that I didn't do this sooner and would HIGHLY recommend ENT Institute. Everyone from the front desk, to imaging, to Clinical assistants, to Physician Assistant, to Check out staff and to Dr. Carothers are polite, welcoming and professional and it doesn't hurt that Dr Carothers is easy on the eyes.
