Carly was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was a great listener and a wealth of information about how the body works. She not only provided specific exercises that resulted in a near-perfect recovery from my shoulder pain, but she explained why each exercise was important and what it would accomplish. It's great to know I have a go-to in Seattle for any PT needs that arise.

The biggest advantage of coming to MoveMend for me was the specificity of diagnosis and treatment, and the fact Aaron specializes in sports, and climbing in particular. His diagnosis and advice were very precise and targeted. Hence the improvement followed. I really liked that I was given a program for recovery and did not have to drive there every day. My elbow is much better now, and in shorter time than it might have been with a more generic, less targeted approach. Highly recommend!

I came to MoveMend to address pain I experience from arthritis in my hand. Aaron is very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining to me what was going on. He gave me excersizes, suggestions and tools to help ease the pain. After a few weeks I have significantly decreased my pain. Aaron is super nice and pleasant to work with.

  • I broke two fingers on my left hand in a bicycle-car accident. After the bones healed, my fingers would barely bend. I needed a hand therapist. I found Aaron Shaw and MoveMend and made an appointment. Because of Aaron's knowledge and ability to explain to me what was going on, I went from extremely discouraged to cautiously optimistic. With a variety of treatments (hot wax was really helpful) and exercises, I made a lot of progress. Aaron is a great motivator and the staff are super-nice, friendly and efficient! I'll miss MoveMend!

Sam was great to work with and he efficiently got my shoulder back in shape after a dislocation by providing me with a specially-targeted exercise regimen. MoveMend does not use PT aides which meant I had Sam's complete attention for the full appointment time and so the instructions on my exercise form were consistent, high-quality, and helpful, which was not my experience at other PT locations that relied on aides.

I have had great experiences with both PT & OT at MoveMend. Due to chronic conditions I often have aches and pains (and less than perfect movement patterns). Sam and Aaron have been great in working with me to come up with realistic solutions that fit my lifestyle, and allow me to do the activities that I want. What more could I ask for? Good coffee, too!

  • Aaron provided detailed and thoughtful feedback on my climbing-related finger injury. He is a great resource for climbers (and everyone) who are seeking therapy.

Devin is friendly at the front counter. Always greeted with a smile and hello, and an offer of a beverage. Carly is amazing as my Physical Therapist. Carly isn't afraid to a be a little aggressive with the therapy. (I need that) she always got new ways to add exercises with and without a ball. Listens attentively and provides feedback equally well. I would recommend MoveMend to anyone who needs physical therapy short or long term. It's a cute little place that doesn't have that "gym" and feel to it like my previous place did.
