Went with friends Friday evening. Arrived just after 6:00 PM and was seated in the bar area where the music would be starting around 7:00. The order drinks and talked with friends. We ordered just before the music began. It was delivered quickly by the bar staff. The food was well presented and everyone enjoyed their selections. The music was good and not too loud for the small area which was nice. The music continued with two sets and ended just before 11:00 and the entire restaurant pretty much cleared out when the music ended. Nice evening!

The wait staff is always freindly and attentive. Very welcoming. The meats are actually smoked, unlike most BBQ places. Not just grilled meat with sauces slathered on. Unique side dishes. I have not had anything that I didn't like. The Bama chicken is incredible.

Smokejack Southern Grill & BBQ popped up while I was on an AJC site under "3 Restaurants Worth the Drive to Alpharetta. Went last night for a concert and we tried it. It was definitely worth staying in Alpharetta to eat dinner. The most tender baby back ribs and chicken. I would drive back there to take some to share the experience with them. If you go, hopefully the waiter Mat will be there -- he is the best!

We officially have a new weekend foodie spot! Good food, good service - blackened catfish poboy is awesome. Servings are great, good atmosphere. We plan to eat here at minimum monthly. No complaints!

This is a nice BBQ spot in North Fulton. The atmosphere is nice, it's in a good location and the food is better than average. Must Try on Menu: Fried Pickles. This is a Southern dish that you think will be awful - but then is totally delightful. I would stick to the sweeter BBQ (Texas style) if you are trying it for the first time. Patio is kind of blah, so sit inside where the atmosphere is better. Nice bar: so good first date spot with some fried pickles and a beer. If she isn't a beer girl though, maybe pick somewhere else as wine and fried pickles: no bueno.

I used the attic for my wedding reception. It was perfect. Food was amazing. Jill was very helpful with coordination and the bartender was outstanding. The guests loved the food and atmosphere too.
