Firas is GREAT with young kids as well as adults. I bring my 2 sons (8&10) regularly from Bellevue because he does a stellar job on all 3 of us. From the very first cuts, my boys felt very comfortable and happy with their new doos. They didn't want to get their haircuts on the way over, but were very happy when they met him. They love their handsome new cuts. THANK YOU FIRAS!

Rick Abrams cuts my hair at Acme. He does a nice fade. You can check the schedule and make an appointment online or walk in.

Business trip, needed to get a cut nearby... Acme Barbershop Yelp reviews were spot on, this place rocks!  Great corner shop with a cool staff, super product advice and a cozy atmosphere!  Not only did Alyssa do a stellar job coupled with great conversation, but I swear she made be a foot taller as well... BONUS!  Thank you Acme Barbershop and especially Alyssa, I'll be back.  Business meetings this week will be so much better now!

Previously got a great madmen haircut from Naomi, and more recently got a great modern low fade from Firas. A lot of barbers can't execute a fade properly with my thick hair, especially if I want to keep over 3-4 inches of length on top, but have had great cuts here so far. It's a good time to want a haircut on Capitol Hill, and Acme is still a great place.

Love this place. I go to Ali every time. I always get compliments on the way she does my fade. She does efficient, quality work, and I'm a committed customer.

I've been going to Acme Barbershop for years, thanks to Mostafa who cuts my hair perfectly every time. If you're looking to try this place, walk ins can be a bit of a wait so definitely make sure you're not in a rush when you go. If you're satisfied with your haircut, I would recommend getting your barber's card to contact them for future appointments. It is the easiest way to get in there long term. The only reason why I give this place four stars instead of five is due to their prices and location. First off, in the past year or so each time I go it seems the price goes up a few dollars. I don't mind because Mostafa does a great job every time and Acme is cheaper compared to other places. It is a bit concerning though that the price is more expensive with each visit. Secondly, the location can be hard to get to. This is mainly the reason I don't go as regularly as I used to since I'm not in the city. If you plan to go, you definitely have to plan parking in a paid lot and walking a little since there is little street parking available. Acme is definitely one of the top barbershops you will find in Seattle. I highly suggest going!

I usually go to Capelli's in SLU and go to my boy Christian for the best haircut I've had in Seattle. However, I recently moved to Capitol Hill after a brief stint in SLU, Belltown, and NYC. I tried coming here during my last stint in Capitol Hill in 2016 and was not impressed. But I figured it was a new year, everyone deserves a second chance, and thought this place is down the hill from me, a 5 minute walk away, and thought I'd give it another chance.I know my hair very well and know exactly what I want, and the barber lingo to describe it; but that doesn't stop some barbers from going on auto-pilot and messing everything up or trying to shoehorn a white guy's haircut onto my thicc mane. So when I went to Naomi, I described things very well, and she ended up doing things better than I could have imagined.I asked for a tapered haircut, tapered down to a 1, not disconnected, natural nape, and long enough up top to slick back, and that's exactly what she gave me. I might have to stay loyal to my boy Christian who's been cutting my hair for a long time, but I will have zero hesitations coming back to Acme when Christian's not available and I need a touch up, and coming back to Naomi, for giving me a haircut that will make me look like a background character from Mad Men in my navy suit when I'm doing my interviews. I've met almost zero barbers in Seattle that can tame my thick hair but Naomi joins this exclusive club. It was tapered perfectly, finished with the great products that Acme carries, in this case Imperial Classic Pomade, which smells pretty good and has a stronger hold than Reuzel, Layrite, and Baxter of California, but still a balanced, not too greasy, shine.
