  • My experience at Southern California Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medical Center was life changing. Six months ago, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and got a CPAP machine which I began using regularly. Previously I had no energy, was constantly tired and though I wanted to, never was able to walk or exercise for more than 10 minutes without tiring out. I was overweight and frustrated. I was dieting but not losing weight. After one week of using the CPAP machine, I noticed a significant increase in my energy level. I woke up in the morning refreshed. I started to walk for longer periods. I started taking a water aerobics class several times a week and worked up to walking 45 minutes a day on alternate days. What a difference this has made in my life. I have dropped 40 pounds, my blood sugar levels are lower, my cholesterol levels have improved and I feel like a new person. What more can I say! Barbara

I came to see Dr. Popper 6 months ago and it has been life changing for me. Using the CPAP machine has allowed me to get real sleep on a consistent basis. I wake up refreshed. I have the energy to exercise daily. I have lost weight and I am much happier in general. I just feel better. Barbara

It is rare to find a doctor's office where you have a consistently good experience with each visit and call, from the front desk to the nurse to the doctor and the sleep technician. Dr. Popper and his entire staff are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in their field. Over the course of my time as a patient here, they have run tests, asked good questions, remained patient with me, and ultimately diagnosed and successfully treated a lifelong issue. My quality of life is remarkably improved.

I am just thrilled with what a difference using a CPAP machine has made in my life. I wake up in the morning refreshed, my brain is not foggy and I don’t feel as if I’m going to fall asleep while driving home from work. Friends have even commented on my increased energy. Thank you so much! Bobbi Lehman

Very professional and courteous. The exam was quick and well informed. Dr. Popper knows what questions to ask to reach a conclusion that is right on track. My symptoms have gotten better with one change in medication. Very impressive.

I have been to other sleep disorder medical practices both here and in other states and found the Southern California Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medical Center to be the most professional and knowledgeable of them all. I am glad to have found them.

I have been using my CPAP machine for almost two months now. I am sleeping seven plus hours nightly, where as before I slept about five interrupted hours a night. I feel much better each day, I have more energy and everything just feels good. Dr Popper and his staff have enabled me through his sleep studies program to reach this new level. The program and equipment will work.
