We had a great time planning our pool. Other than the weather, everything went as planned.

  • We love our pool! We had a great time designing our pool for our needs, and it looks better than planned.

  • We have never owned a pool before, so honestly, we did not know anything about the process or what to expect or even the price. Initially, we were flabbergasted at the price and almost thought we were not going to move forward with getting a pool installed. After a few consultations with other places, it became clear that based on the size we wanted and what was included, Aquanauts offered a more inclusive price. The price includes whatever is the newest in the model year for equipment. They buy your equipment after you sign the contract. I guess some companies buy in bulk and store in a warehouse? These guys were also the ONLY ones that present the information professionally and give you a sneak peek at the auto-CAD of your property and layout. In our situation, there was a lot of waiting. Communication could have been better. Maybe I have different expectations? From contract to final bill for everything being done was 4 months, but to be fair to Aquanauts, we did start at the peak of pool season. It was filled at the 3 month mark, however, we had issues with our chemicals. So....we took a water sample to the recommended pool supply store (Aquanauts recemmended them). We were told we needed 2 additional items (wasn't mentioned at all). Now that we took the pool supply's recommendations, our chemicals are FINALLY right. Like I mentioned in the very beginning, we know nothing about owning a pool. I had the expectation we would be taught how to care for it, like what we needed to do for maintenance. The pool supply store (without seeing our pool) told us exactly what to add and how often. It seemed that it's weekly maintenance stuff we were never told. We were taught how to use the equipment and equipment maintenance. But aside from that, some of the subs were fantastic, especially Paco. He had the best recommendations and I completely trust his judgement. There was another sub who caused some damage. Luckily it only cost us about $50. Overall, it was a good experience and I would completely trust them to install our next pool.

Just a disclaimer before you read into the nitty gritty. I reserve 5 star reviews for above and beyond. Having said that, my rating of a 4 is likely other people's 5+ rating. We couldn’t be happier with our pool! Aquanauts came to us highly recommended and they didn’t disappoint. The pool was completed as designed and finished ahead of schedule. All construction crews were courteous, helpful and professional. Top of the line equipment! We will definitely recommend them to our friends.
